Edward Kinyanjui FOUNDER & CEO

Edward Kinyanjui

Founder & CEO

Edward is an accomplished entrepreneur and a mentor with over 20 years’ experience in finance and business. He is currently the CEO and founder of Plexus Energy Ltd. In his career growth he has gained vast experience and skills in business strategy and SME set-up. Mr. Edward is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) from Strathmore University. He is also a Stanford Seed Entrepreneurship program and Growth Africa Entrepreneur Accelerator Program graduate. When Edward is unwinding and not leading Plexus Energy, he enjoys doing charity work (he is a board member of KICE Foundation:, playing football, Music and traveling.

Margaret Ng’ang’a

Finance Manager

Margaret is the Finance Manager, she oversees the running of the finance department and provides useful financial insights in executing the company strategy. She is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA K) and Holds a Bachelor of Commerce Degree (Finance and Accounting specialization) from Strathmore University. Currently she is pursuing her Masters in Commerce in Strathmore University. When not hard at work performing her finance role Margaret is passionate about traveling, giving back to the society, informative reading and spending time with family.

Frank Maina

Technical Manager

Frank is the Technical Manager. He is responsible for preparing and studying technical drawings and specifications of electrical systems to ensure that installation and operations conform to standards and customer requirements. He works with other engineers and clients to improve or develop solar products. He has extensive breadth of experience in electrical engineering and solar power site evaluation. He is a member of the Engineers Board of Kenya and also a licensed Photovoltaic Technician T3 from the Energy & Petroleum Regulatory Authority (EPRA). He has Exceptional knowledge of electrical power system design, large-scale solar power electronics and familiarity with solar power engineering industry safety rules and regulations. Frank is graduate from Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology where he holds a -BSc. Electrical and Electronic Engineering, During his free time he enjoys team sports and spending time with family.

James Njoroge

Solar Engineer

James is a Solar/Electrical Technician, he designs, installs, and maintains solar systems. He also does the installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of UPS systems for clients with critical equipment, such as banks and data centers. He facilitates customer satisfaction by ensuring that power systems work without fail. He also advises the management on technical matters and designs effective, efficient, and economical solar power systems. James is a licensed Photovoltaic technician T2 and holds a Bachelor of Technology Degree in Renewable Energy from the Technical University of Mombasa. In his free time, he enjoys swimming, playing badminton, and watching movies. He also advices the management on matters technical, helping devise effective, efficient, and economical solar power systems. James holds a  Bachelor of Technology Degree in Renewable Energy from the Technical University of Mombasa.

David Musau

Logistics Officer

David is the Logistics Officer at Plexus Energy Limited, where he works to ensure support, facilitation of office, staff and clients. In nine years with Plexus Energy Ltd, Musau has enabled efficiency and effectiveness in company projects. David is a graduate from International Correspondence Schools (ICS), holding a diploma in Business Administration. When not at work doing Office management, he enjoys travelling, reading, charity work and listening to gospel music.

Cheryl Bungei

Finance Assistant

Cheryl is the Finance Assistant. She handles the day-to-day finance activities and also supports admin and operations. She holds a Bachelor of Commerce Degree (Finance Major) from Strathmore University and is currently pursuing CPA (Certified Public Accountant). She loves swimming, cooking and being around her loved ones.

Grace Wachira

Technical Sales Engineer

Grace is the Plexus’ Technical Sales Engineer. She holds a BSc in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from The University of Nairobi. She is responsible for establishing new accounts by identifying potential leads, planning and delivering technical proposals, organizing site and sales visits to client establishments, Providing pre – and post-sales support, visiting prospects in commercial, industrial, and other establishments, and developing and growing long-term relationships with clients. She is experienced in writing and describing solar products, has expansive knowledge of the solar power industry, and frequently writes our company blog. During her free time, Grace probably travels, spends time with family and friends, does something music-related, or reads.

Jackline Ngetich

Solar Technician

Jackline Chelangat is a Solar/ Electrical Technician, and  holds a Bachelors degree in Renewable Energy. Her role is designing, installation and maintenance of solar systems and backup systems. She also does installation and maintenance of UPS systems to ensure power continuity and protection of critical equipment. She does site surveys, and advises the clients on effective solutions to their problem, gives technical advice and helps plan for efficient and economical solar systems. During her free time, she enjoys playing and officiating soccer.

Elizabeth Maina

Business Development Manager

Elizabeth is the Business Development Manager at Plexus Energy. She is a green energy enthusiast and championed Green Girls Project, where she promoted Bio-gas use as an alternative to firewood (biomass). She has over 15 years Experience in Sales and business development. She actively promotes clean energy and adoption of solar power to clients across the country. In her free time, she is actively involved in community service to assist disadvantaged girls in the rural areas.
